Cheyenne (Sean Penn) is a former rock star. At 50 he still dresses “Goth” and lives in Dublin off his royalties. The death of his father, with whom he wasn’t speaking terms, brings him back to New York. He discovers his father had an obsession: to seek revenge for a humiliation he had suffered. Cheyenne decides to pick up where his father left off, and starts a journey, at his own pace, across America.

One of the most precious “diamonds” of Cannes Film Festival Competition, “La Piel Que Habito” by Pedro Almodovar, overwhelmed my imagination…Even if you treat Antonio Banderas or the genius film director with indifference, this is a “must-see” movie. Especially, if you are not feeling ashamed to bursts into tears…and not once!

While getting prepared for Cannes Festival’s most glamorous Chopard Party, I was thinking about…diamonds! Not because of the strict Diamond dress-code, but mostly of the women’s ability to “carry” them. But surprisingly, even the combination of Roberto Cavalli’s leopard dress with precious stones doesn’t seem so vulgar in Cannes like in Moscow. Nevertheless, my decision was to wear black gown with chiffon decoration and several Hollywood stars agreed with me;-) Just guess who…))) Wait for photo-call from Chopard Party in future posts…
